Just eight applique pieces are all that are needed to make this folk art-style wallhanging with a pine tree, snow drifts, and two tiny birds. With borders, the entire piece measures about 9.5 x 13.5 inches; small enough that you'll finish it, and easy enough that you'll want to make more! We'll use freezer paper to transfer the designs to fabric and an overlay for placement of individual pieces. Students should be familiar with needleturn applique. [Advanced Beginner, Intermediate]
