Dancing Flowers

Once the basic stems and leaves are appliqued, there is lots of room to use your creativity.  Several different flower heads will be given, or you can design your own!  Ruching can be used to create hyacinths and the centers of the Brown-Eyed Susans.  Learn at least two ways of making round berries.  My center circle has reverse appliqued circles to look more gourd-like.  You can do ruching or a design of your choosing to customize the center of this beautiful block.  Learn lots of tips for handling outer points, stems, reverse and regular applique circles, and so much more. 

The length of this class can vary from 2 to 3 days, depending on the skill level of the students, and how much work students want to accomplish in class.  Advanced beginner and up for skill level.
